‘A good traveller has no fixed plans and is not intent of arriving’ – Lao Tzu
In this case, if you are a good traveller and anywhere connected to India, you would need a valid passport and Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI), a document for an overseas resident who is born in Indian territory or has Indian origin parents/grandparents or is an Indian citizen residing in foreign land from a long time. The OCI is required to enter the Indian premises along with a valid passport.
The OCI is required mandatorily for individuals over 50 years of age and does not need to renew it if he or she is applying for the passport for the first time. On the other hand, for individuals between the age of 21 to 49, there is no strict structure or compulsion to renew the passport along with the OCI. However, for kids and individuals less than 20, it is compulsory to renew the OCI with the renewal of the passport.
We, at CBD, guide you in renewal of OCI along with guidance on Indian tours. To obtain OCI quicker and hassle free, you can visit us directly at https://www.cbdtravel.com.au/ or call us on 04 3263 4854 | 1800 889 036 | 03 9654 9529 for further information.
